You can in a Nissan, you can’t in a Trabant 

I know we talk about nation branding here from time to time, but what about a nation that no longer exists? The DDR, or East Germany, is retro-chic these days, with the smell of a Trabant's exhaust a marketable commodity, according to Deutsche Welle today. Yes, you can buy canned Trabant exhaust. Shows that even some former nations have a stronger brand than many that exist today.
